Founded in 2001, the Texas Family Law Foundation's mission is to improve the family law practice and jurisprudence of the State of Texas.

10th Biennial Family Law Legislative Update

The Texas Family Law Foundation has partnered with UT CLE to bring you the definitive post-legislative preview of new rules and key legislative developments for family law practitioners. This biennial update has been offered over the last 20 years as “Sampson and Tindall’s Family Law Legislative Update.”

A staggering 966 changes have been proposed to the Family Code. With a new Speaker in the Texas House and bipartisan spirit generally prevailing in the Capitol, it appears the Family Code will be amended in significant ways that will affect the family lawyers’ practice. This legislative update is designed to make you aware of the new substantive changes to the Code and how those changes will affect your practice.

The 3-hour live program is being offered in three locations:

San Antonio, June 17, Hill Country Hyatt
Houston, June 25, South Texas College of Law
